Illinois Baseball Report

Friday was Bleacher Bum Barbecue at Illinois Field.  I thought I’d post some photos reflective of today’s events.  If you’re looking for an update of the Illinois-Northwestern game itself, here it is).

Catcher Adam Davis was confident before the game

Tonight’s attendance was the fifth largest in history

Autographs were signed by players before and after the game

There was a ball drop from a helicopter and Olympic medalist Katherine Reutter threw out the first ball

With the Big Ten Network broadcasting the game, there was lots of media excitement…

… even the coaches were getting in on the action with in-game interviews

Mike Sterk and Doug Schumacher have a little fun before the game

Win or lose, we still get the fireworks
