Illini reliever Matt Whitmore earned the Big Ten Pitcher of the Week award Monday.  Whitmore did it by garnering 3 saves last week in 3 innings.  He didn’t allow any hits or runs in those 3 innings. 

Whitmore is now six of six in save chances and leads the conference in saves.
