Congrats to Illini secondbaseman Reid Roper who was named Northwoods League Player of the Night tonight. Roper who is playing for the Rochester Honkers drove in four runs with a three-run double and a rbi double.
Justin Parr also got into the action. Playing center field and left field, Parr went 2 for 4 with 2 rbis.
The Honkers defeated the Alexandria Beetles 8-6. Eight runs and six of them driven in by Illini. Nice going, guys!
