Illinois Baseball Report

  Good luck to Craig Lutes.  His Lexington Snipes are battling it out with Paxton for the Eastern Illinois League Championship. 

It’s a two out three series between the Snipes vs Swedes.  Today is the first game at Paxton at 2pm.  Tomorrow the series will continue with Game #2 beginning at 1pm.  Game #3 (if necessary) will follow soon after.

With a 17-5 record, Lutes and his Snipes got in with the best record in the EI League.  Lexington is no strangers to championship games.  They’ve won the EI League title six out the last eight years.
