The Illini Coaching staff is off to an early start in recruiting this off-season. They have already landed Ryan Haff, a Hinsdale Central product. Haff primarily plays shortstop but looks pretty versatile in the field. He also has plenty of pop, too leading Hinsdale Central in hits, doubles, triples and homers this past season.

Haff will be eligible to join the Illini for the 2014-15 season.
