Just a reminder for those in the C-U area… the Orange and Blue World Series begins Monday!
The three-game intrasquad series is an annual event put on by the Illinois baseball team and is great sneak preview for what is to come in 2013. Here is the schedule for next week.
Mon., Oct. 1 – 3:30-6
Tues., Oct. 2 – 3:30-6
Wed., Oct. 3 – 3:30-6
It’s good news as far as weather is concerned. All three days call for partly sunny and warm with temps reaching as high as 79 on Wednesday. If the weatherman is wrong though, Thursday and Friday are scheduled as rain dates.
