The UI Athletic Department has announced that tickets for the second annual Battle at the Busch have gone on sale. Illinois will take on Missouri Tigers and play at the home of the Cardinals on March 29th. Gametime is 6:30pm.
Tickets are $10. Most likely, there will be a bus trip that will haul Illinois fans from the Champaign-Urbana area down to St Louis so stay tuned for more information.
I went to last year’s Battle at Busch (story and photos here). Despite Illinois’ loss, it was a fun time and I’m sure it was a significant moment for players.
