Fun, odd and interesting photos from the Big Ten Baseball Tournament
Just a few photos that were taken today that I thought might be interesting:
Huntington Park has been getting rave reviews from everyone I talk to. It’s a very nice facility with some really cool features that we’re just used to at the college level…
… a cool video-enhanced scoreboard…
a sign measuring the speed of the pitches (though it isn’t always accurate)…
…and an area for the “knothole gang” to watch the game.
Aaron Martin thought the park needed more Illini decor so he drew a Block I in the dirt.
Check it out, Bonadonna’s playing third base. Doesn’t show up in the box score though.
Kevin McMurray and Tony Cappetta enjoying watching their sons take part in today’s comeback.
McMurray again, with Mike and Kathy Altobelli. There’s a reason everyone’s wearing shades. It was incredibly sunny today (something Champaign hasn’t seen much of in 2009).
A cameraman’s cheat sheet.
