Penn State’s O’Neil to the Sox
This didn’t get past my radar… Penn State’s closer Drew O’Neil got drafted by the White Sox Thursday. Pretty dang high, too at 120th overall (four picks after Illinois’ Hudson) in the fourth round. Nittany White-Out is pretty excited about it.
Speaking of Penn State ballplayers, I’m surprised that catcher Joe Blackburn didn’t get selected. He’s as solid as they come and hit .340+ in the last two years.
